[LS] We have approximately one kilometre of files in the archive, about 3,000 objects from Lufthansa's history, over 100,000 pictures. There's always something being added.

[NL] A key is mainly to have a simple fleet, which ultimately allows us to act flexibly in the market.

[CS] I introduced the A320 at Lufthansa as the fleet chief. Looking back, it was one of the most interesting projects I have ever done.

[Voice] After the successful first season, the second season of “Above and Beyond,” the Lufthansa Airlines Podcast, starts in September.

[Voice] We look back on one hundred years of Lufthansa, a century full of lift and headwinds, ups and downs, new beginnings, and crises.

[MA] If you look at the railway network today, it is completely different from how it was before.

[HB] The crises naturally mark turning points with significant economic, but also psychological consequences. However, it almost always succeeds in leaving these crises behind relatively quickly.

[KF] What is extremely deeply rooted in this company is the sense of responsibility. That successful crisis management begins well before the crisis.

[Voice] Five new episodes, exciting conversations with pilots, employees and board members, route planners, historians, and engineers.

[GR] The whole thing is a real-world laboratory for the future, allowing us to explore future topics here in the field of hydrogen technologies, for example in the area of hydrogen tanks or fuel cell technology.

[Voice] From the past to the present into the future, from propeller planes to jet engines to hydrogen-powered aviation.

[HA] We are definitely still ten years, if not maybe even fifteen, away from actually seeing the first airplanes flying with hydrogen.

[JR] What I wish for most is openness. A world that is changing ever faster requires us to be open to new things and to take new paths. Therefore, we must manage to combine our tradition, which is undoubtedly a very, very great strength of Lufthansa, with a new innovative power.
